Snacking Made Simple
Before I begin, NatureBox is not paying me to write this. I am writing this to inform others who have been curious about snack box subscriptions. I ordered a Love With Food box for my dad for Christmas. Though I did not get any pictures of his box when I visited, I did like what I saw. They even gave him some coupons and a lip balm in his first box. However, I decided to go with NatureBox just to try them out.
Why did I choose NatureBox over Love With Food? Well at the time, NatureBox was offering 50% off the first box. So the price was 9.99. That price included 5 snacks every two weeks. After I received the first box, I decided that to switch to once a month instead. Each snack is less than 200 calories and comes in 4 oz. bags. This meant that I would have enough to put in the kids’ lunches. I also liked that they had a lot of nutritious and healthy options like dried pineapple, lentil loops (chip-like snack) and various flavored nuts.
For my first box I chose, the highly-requested Big Island Pineapple, Cheddar Lentil loops, Probiotic trail mix, fruit stars and mini Belgian waffles. I loved the dried pineapple and Belgian Waffles. The others were good but I decided to try something different for my next box.
I re-ordered the Mini Belgian Waffles and then let Naturebox surprise me with a snack of their choosing. i chose Lemon Tea Biscuits, Jalepeno Cheddar popcorn and I think I chose Whole wheat Vanilla Animal Crackers or maybe that was the one NatureBox picked and I chose Honey Mustard Pretzels. I don’t remember who chose which. But anyway, the kids (Lady Z especially) loved the animal crackers and the Lemon tea biscuits.
Take a look at my video review for more info about how I felt about each snack. Do you subscribe to a snack box? What is your favorite snack?
